  • Angry.

    I am so fed up with some people today!  Work has got me stressed out, senior staff is in the office today, and I am exhausted.  Ugh…I just need to go home and relax, but we have a team dinner at some fancy schmancy restaurant that I have to attend, which will be fine (and tasty), but I’m just not in the mood!  Plus, since Jamie’s not here, I’m driving home, which means I can’t drink.   BOO!

    Might hopefully have some news soon on the work front.  Not having a job lined up for when we get home has been wearing on me daily.  I’m stressed out about it, even though Jamie tells me I have no reason to be (I don’t need to work if I don’t want, but I feel bad not working)…I just hate the uncertainty of it all.

    Basically, it’s a blah day.  I’m sure tomorrow will be better, but today sort of sucks.

    Hope you all are doing well!

    XOXOXO,
    K.

  • I was just thinking the other day that you should work for Zirtual.  This would be a great job to have now and then have when you become a mom.  Let me know if you are interested in applying!

  • @ShamrockLover - I think it would be awesome once we have kids, but I’m not sure if it would offer enough hours a week?  How many hours a week do you work/is the maximum?

  • OMG, to be childless AND not have to work is my dream. :)

  • Well, you can take on as many clients as you want and work as many hours as you want.  It could easily be full time and an account manager makes $36k a year.  I know that’s not much compared to what you’re probably making, but it allows TONS of flexibility and the added bonus of working from home.

  • hang in there and don’t feel bad about not working because hey, right now you ARE working. no sense feeling bad about something that hasn’t happened yet.

  • *big hugs*! I hope your day got better :D

  • @heckels - You are a smart man, and completely right.  Thanks!

    @Mad_Wife - thanks!  it didn’t, but I’ll do a post on that now…ugh.

  • @ShamrockLover - That’s awesome that it’s so flexible!  I’ll definitely keep it in mind…I’d like to stay with Cummins, preferably, but it might not be in the cards.  Hopefully I know something soon!
