weekend plans.
I am so excited about my upcoming weekend! Jamie and I are taking a weekend trip to Chicago!! We've both been there before, several times, but its always nice to just go somewhere new and get away for a few days. We're going to go to the Museum of Science and Industry and the Field Museum for sure, then we might hit up a few other tourist attractions. I know we'll definitely spend time relaxing and possibly shopping (at least, I hope so...I need a new watch). Overall, it'll be a nice little vacation for the weekend.
In other news...I have a sinus infection. Nothing overly new, I get 5-6 of these a year, but its still painful and frustrating. I've made an appointment with an allergist for the end of the month and they're going to run some tests to see if allergies are causing these sinus problems. Have any of you had the scratch test and the needle test? I never had, so I don't really know what to expect. Also...have any of you had allergy shots? Are they worth it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I hope you feel better! My hubby used to get allergy shots when he was little and they helped for a while, but I think he got used to them so he has to switch his meds every now and then.
I hear the Sears tower has those new skydeck things. I can't wait to go back to Chicago to see what they're all about. Have a great time!
My sister kept getting sinus infections and i think she had some sort of surgery to remove stuff to prevent them. I've heard that allergy shots work if it's for the right allergy. I guess certain allergies respond better to the shots than others. Good luck.
girl i feel you on those sinus infections :( they are sooo lame. have you ever tried a nettie pot? my sister (an RN) swears by them. i always consider getting one and then i never do!
have a blast in chicago! around where in the US do you live? chicago is about 8 hours by car for us, or 80 minutes by air :) i always think we should spend a weekend there because its a GREAT city, so much to do there!
